Debit and Credit cards are processed the same. However there is a big difference between the two. If using a debit card, all money for this transaction will be held in a “pending” status by your bank until the transaction is complete. An authorization means that the amount of the payment is reserved from the cardholders’s available funds until payment is actually issued. In some instances, your available balance or credit limit may reflect the authorization. Each time an order is un-submitted and then re-submitted, every credit/debit card on the order is *re-authorized* for the amount of its payment. This is especially critical to customers who pay by debit card, because real funds are being held. Even though actual payment will only be paid once, every previous authorization is still on each card, and it can take up to 7 days before those funds are released. If your transaction is declined or voided on this website, your bank may still hold your funds until your bank determines when to release them. This could take several days.
